There isn’t long left to apply for South Gloucestershire Council’s Active Travel Grant, worth up to £1,000.

South Gloucestershire Council is offering the grants to help promote walking and cycling.

The scheme is open to all community groups, businesses and town and parish councils within South Gloucestershire.

The grants have to be used to purchase items which will encourage people to leave their cars at home. This might be new or improved cycle parking or storage, electric bikes, pool bikes, cargo bikes or bike trailers.

The closing date for applications is Friday 29^th September and you can get an application form by emailing transport.policy@southglos.gov.uk
